Vote Pro Pros – Voter Protection in PA
Vote Pro Pros needs LOTS OF VOLUNTEERS to contribute to the upcoming elections and protect the vote and our democracy. Please see the opportunities below.
Here are some PA Primary opportunities
PA Ballot Cure Support
1. PA Primary Election 2026 Curing Call: Help Voters Save Their Votes!
What: Make calls to save Democratic voters’ votes in the May 19 PA Primary Election. We will need about 120 volunteers to help voters: 1) get the ballots they requested but did not receive (“Undeliverables”) and 2) fix technical errors on their mail-in ballots (“Curing”). The May Primary is an important step ahead of the November election as we reach voters, identify issues they may have with casting their mail-in ballots, and help them prevent such problems in the General Election. Our curing in the primary also will help us understand evolving county policies that may make it harder for voters to vote so we can work with our PA partners to improve such policies for November.
Sign up today to join our team and help ensure that every voter who wants to cast a mail-in ballot knows how to do so and that their vote will count for this primary election as well as the General Election in November!
Calling, On your own time
When: Training will begin in April. Volunteers will call Democratic voters on their own time between 9:30am and 8pm ET starting in April and continuing through Primary Election Day, May 19.
How: Complete this Form to express your interest in our PA Primary Election Curing Project. Once submitted, we will contact you by March 31 with training information.
2. Join the PA Curing Slack Monitor Team
What: Our PA Curing team is gearing up to support ballot curing ahead of the May 19 Primary Election, and we are recruiting Slack Monitors to help keep things running smoothly. Monitors answer questions, flag urgent issues, and share critical updates with call volunteers so no one slips through the cracks — NO VOTE LEFT BEHIND!
If you have previous curing experience and are comfortable in Slack, this is a great way to support the team and ensure both volunteers and voters get the help they need. We are asking Slack Monitors to commit 6 or more hours per week with flexible shifts available!
When: April 15 – Election Day, May 19 (about 6–10 hrs/week). Training will begin a week earlier.
How: DM @Alex Lied or email her at alexandra.lied@gmail.com to learn more. Let’s make sure every eligible vote gets counted!
3. PA Designated Agents Needed to Help Disabled Voters
What: Designated Agents (DA) assist disabled voters whose submitted mail ballots contain errors. These voters may need help picking up a replacement ballot and/or returning the ballot to a drop box or drop off site. Anyone with access to transportation can be a Designated Agent for a voter. The whole process takes approximately 2-3 hours depending on the situation. Training materials are available which explain the process, and volunteers will be required to complete the training before being assigned a voter. This will all happen beginning about 3 weeks prior to and up through May 19, 2026, PA Primary Election Day. You do not have to be a PA resident to be a Designated Agent, nor do you have to belong to VoPro Pros.
Your participation in this important work will have a big impact in November, as well: the voter will learn how to avoid repeating their mistakes, and we will learn which counties are working to make voting even more difficult.
Volunteers have reported that being a DA is one of the most rewarding activities they have done to help voters.
Calls, In-person work with voters, Driving
When: Late April through May 19.
