U.S. House of Representatives: On February 25, all but one House Republican voted to cut up to $800 billion from Medicaid. It’s a tremendous betrayal of their constituents and often a direct betrayal of promises they made on the campaign trail.
We are writing to Democratic and likely Democratic leaning independent voters, asking these voters to call their member of Congress and tell them to protect Medicaid. Surveys show many people want to speak up but don’t know how – this is any easy way to start. Mail postcards as you complete them and by May 21 at the latest.
