Jon Ossoff is serving his first term as Georgia’s U.S. Senator. representing Georgia.. His 2026 Senate race has been deemed a Toss-Up by Cook, and he is now judged as the “most endangered incumbent” in the country.

Born in Atlanta, Georgia, he earned a BA from Georgetown University School of Foreign Service in 2009 and a master's degree from the London School of Economics in 2013. Ossoff was mentored by civil rights legend Congressman John Lewis. Before coming to the Senate, Ossoff was a national security staffer and legislative assistant for U.S. Rep. Hank Johnson, (GA-04). Later Ossoff was managing director and CEO of a small documentary film company that exposed war crimes, public corruption, human trafficking, and organized crime. He received the 2021 Martin and Coretta King National Leadership Award. Ossoff lives with his wife, Dr. Alisha Kramer, and their two daughters in Atlanta.

In his first two years in the Senate, Ossoff passed into law more standalone bills than any other freshman despite the polarization in Washington DC.
