Senate (J. Husted, R), OH-09 (Kaptur, D), OH-13 (Sykes, D)
Former Senator Sherrod Brown is running to reclaim his seat in Ohio, in the special election to replace JD Vance in the Senate. Additionally, there are critical House seats held by Democrats Marcy Kaptur and Emilia Sykes that must be held in order to flip the House. If anyone can flip this Senate seat, it's Sherrod Brown. He served in Ohio politics almost continuously from 1975 until his defeat last year and has been the only Democrat to win a statewide race in Ohio in nearly two decades. He outran Kamala Harris’ vote percentage by 2.6 points.
