Ransom for State Assembly

Election day is coming fast, and we need all hands on deck to help reach out to voters in the Ninth District! We’ll meet virtually to call likely and persuadable Democratic voters to identify and mobilize support for Josh so that we can send him back to Washington in November!

We’ll meet over Zoom at 6pm and start with a training, and then we’ll make calls as a group until around 8pm. If you haven’t phone banked before, this is a great way to get started with other local volunteers!

Josh grew up in the Valley and lives in Tracy with his wife Pam and their two young daughters, Lillian and Karina. He sees how expensive it’s getting to raise a family – from gas to housing to health care – and how our communities keep getting left behind. For too long politicians have put their own egos above actually getting things done for our families. Josh represents a new generation of leaders working to break the gridlock and fix the broken political system.

Josh comes from the business world and is focused on the most important issues in our community like lowering costs, fighting homelessness and keeping our neighborhoods safe. That’s why Josh has support from a diverse coalition of voters from farmers and ranchers to union workers and law enforcement.

Rhodesia has dedicated her life to service. Over the past several decades, she has served as a non-profit founder and executive director, a planning commissioner, and a member of the Tracy City Council. Now, she’s going to Sacramento to fight to lower the cost of living, decrease our commute times, stand up against crime, and bring good-paying jobs to our district. Rhodesia is endorsed by democratic party organizations, nurses, teachers, healthcare workers, and more.

Rhodesia and her husband reside in San Joaquin County where they raised their three children. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from San Francisco State University and a Master’s in Public Administration from Golden Gate University.
