We are looking forward to knocking doors in Franklin County NC on the weekend of October 18-19.
Down Home NC will be organizing the canvass for local offices – mayors, town councils. school boards, etc. These elections, important in themselves, also provide reasons to talk to voters in advance of the critical 2026 elections.
Fly to Durham and stay in Durham; canvassing locations will be in easy driving distance.
The weekend activities will include social gatherings, supporter housing (as available), and the chance to build community while doing democracy-saving work.
