Relational Organizing:
The Friendliest Way to Recruit
The phrase “It’s not what you know; it’s who you know” has a ring of truth to it. It’s “who you know” that can amplify “what you know” about the importance of voting, volunteering, and protecting the vote.
Relational Organizing describes a simple, effective way of getting out the vote and recruiting volunteers through your own network – especially those who live in swing states. It’s the technique that propelled Barack Obama to the White House.
Learn how at the training and action event organized by Together for 2020 from 7 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 19, featuring Marshall Ganz of the Harvard Kennedy School and father of relational organizing.

LIFT ALL BOATS
Theresa Greenfield
Senate Candidate for Iowa
Flipping every Senate seat we can is crucial to restoring sanity and decency to our country. Who knew Iowa would be in play?
But that is exactly the case. The campaign of Democrat Theresa Greenfield is becoming increasingly stronger with every nonpartisan analyst’s report. Greenfield has built strong grassroots support in her home state – and with Iowa Democratic and Republican leaders alike.
Her opponent, Republican Sen. Joni Ernst, has earned a reputation for corruption; her campaign is being investigated for accepting illegal dark money. Her unwavering support for the current Administration as well as her defense of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh has made her highly vulnerable.
Let’s send Joni back to the hog farm and send another Democrat to the U.S. Senate.
