Fundraising to Register North Carolina Voters
Early money is critical for building the infrastructure needed to register, engage, and turn out voters year-round.
83% of white North Carolinians are registered to vote, but only 63% of Black residents are, leaving an estimated more than 1,000,000 unregistered eligible people of color statewide.
A coalition of eight organizations has a plan to register 250,000 of these possible voters. To succeed, they have to fully ramp up in the cooler winter months.
