Join A group of Year-Round Voter Protection Teams
Would you like to join a group of virtual volunteers who are totally focused on voter protection?
This group’s mission is to eliminate voter suppression and support free and fair elections by providing professional-grade support to partners in critical jurisdictions in the form of election support, voter outreach and education, data gathering, and technical expertise.
This group flies under the radar and prefers to remain that way – but they are a committed and passionate volunteer army of 2000+ volunteers who have become a well-oiled machine since their launch in the 2020 Election. Since that election they have learned the intricacies of voter protection in different states, and methodically and meticulously worked to make sure that every vote was counted.
In order to continue this important work, they need to recruit volunteers who are curious and have the time to dig in year round to support the work of many partners nationwide. On average a volunteer provides 4 – 6 hrs of volunteer labor most weeks a year. During the election season, a volunteer’s time commitment increases. They conduct their work virtually working in teams. Their projects generally require calling, texting, and/or Internet research. They organize themselves and communicate via Slack and periodic Zoom meetings. Technical aptitude is needed, however training on new platforms and with each project is provided.
