Rep. Ruben Gallego is running a close race in Arizona, a critical battleground state. His opponent will be MAGA Republican election denier Kari Lake, who barely lost the gubernatorial race in 2022 is still claiming she won. He may also be opposed by now Independent Senator Kyrsten Sinema, who has not yet declared as a candidate.

Rep. Gallego has been a member of Congress for five sessions + he has a proven track record of working hard + getting things done.

Ruben Gallego is the son of Latino parents. He grew up in Chicago with a single mother + three sisters + worked to help support the family from a young age. He graduated from Harvard with a degree in International Relations + then joined the Marines. Gallego fought in Iraq and lost his best friend in combat. He is now a member of Congress + is running to be the next Senator in Arizona. He is living the American dream + works hard to open up that dream to others.

Rep. Gallego has been a staunch advocate for workers, women, families, vets, teachers,
Native Americans
+ the environment. Here are some examples of his leadership:
• Introduced Universal Full Day Kindergarten Act to ensure every child has access to high-quality full day kindergarten
• Co-author of 30×30 Initiative, a comprehensive plan to conserve 30% of our global lands +
oceans by the year 2030
• Introduced federal legislation to keep foreign corporations + governments like Saudi Arabia from using excess water in drought-stricken states like Arizona
• A leader in the push for funding to protect Indian Country from future government shutdowns.
• A leader addressing the crisis of Missing + Murdered Indigenous Women.

Arizona is a tight battleground state that Joe Biden won by 0.3% in 2020 +
Democratic Governor Katie Hobbs won by 0.7% in 2022.

This one will be close.
