canvassing in Leesburg, VA 31 with Swing Left

Join me and other Swing Left volunteers to knock doors for a competitive race here in Richmond!

The VA primary is over and the democratic candidate for State Senate 31 is Russet Perry. It’s essential for us to flip this seat to keep Democratic control in the VA State Senate. Since redistricting this seat is now competitive and the incumbent is not running.

Our meet up location is Russet Perry headquarters 25 E First St. SE, Leesburg, VA 20175.

We will be trying a new tool to arrange carpools from multiple locations. So you don’t have to be in Howard County to carpool.

We’ll be using the minivan app on our phones. Download the app (blue square with 8 white dots surrounding another white dot). Create an ActionID account ahead of time. You will receive the canvassing number when you arrive. And be sure to charge your phone the night before.

After finishing your turf, plan to stay for lunch to meet other volunteers and swap stories.
