The expulsion of corrupt George Santos from Congress triggered a special election that will be held on February 13th. That’s just around the corner, and time is of the essence.
In 2020, President Joe Biden won this district by 8.2 points. However the district has moved to the right since that time, and elections analysts rate it a tossup. That’s where you come in! We are well-positioned to flip this seat blue if we do the work! And if we do, we’re more likely to keep it blue in November. This is a great opportunity that we mustn’t squander.
The Democrat running for the seat is Tom Suozzi, who held the seat for 6 years before he left to run for governor. We will be alerting voters to this “pop-up” election and boosting name recognition for our highly qualified candidate.
Santos may be gone, but the dysfunction and chaos he represented is as strong as ever in the MAGA-controlled House. Flipping this seat brings us one step closer to a Democratic-controlled House, and it’s well within reach.
