January 6 marks the one-year anniversary of the assault on our Capitol and the attempt to stop the peaceful transfer of power that is the centerpiece of our democracy. The Republican assault on democracy has continued. Join us for an important briefing on redistricting, gerrymandering, and the 2022 Midterm Election on January 6 at 2 p.m. with Kelly Ward Burton, president of the National Democratic Redistricting Committee. The NDRC was created by Attorney General Eric Holder and President Obama to spearhead efforts to create fair districts and fight gerrymandering. Kelly Ward Burton has been the key staff person for the effort since its inception. Prior to that she was the political director for the DCCC. Kelly will brief us on the state of redistricting and take questions. Then we will turn to what all of us can do to make sure we hold the House and the Senate.
